Earlier today, the Bearland Mint finalized the brand new series of Type B Silver Certificates, unveiling a striking redesign.
The new series introduces fresh animal intaglios, colors that pop off the paper, and even new denominations. Among these, the 0.005 Bear and the 2 Bear.
- The 0.005 Bear is reportedly four times smaller than standard notes, a miniature marvel of printing, and unlike the others does not feature an animal portrait. Instead, it showcases an intricate star pattern.
- The 2 Bear makes its debut with a soaring Gyrfalcon, a nice contrast to the land based wildlife seen on other high denominations.
The Head of State shared their own candid thoughts on the release:
“Well, you know, looks a lot nicer…. We should get that polar bear on the 2, but hey, I can’t complain with the falcon. Some avian representation on the big denominations, nice contrast…. I’m going to find a way to make a 0.001 Bear in the next series, then we will be all set with new denominations until the silver market changes.”
With the launch of the Type B series, the Type A series will no longer be printed. In addition, one denomination that had already received an earlier redesign will now be classified as Type C, ensuring consistency in cataloging and historical record keeping.
