Section 1

This law shall be cited as the National Park Act.

Section 2

The purpose of this Act is to establish the Mainland of Bearland, located at 81.07468° N, 86.81441° W as a National Park.

Section 3

The entirety of the Mainland of Bearland is hereby designated as the National Park of Bearland.

This designation does not extend to any other Territories which are not connected by land to the Mainland of Bearland, which remain outside the scope of this Act.

The boundaries of the National Park follow the coastline of the Mainland and include a maritime boundary of five hundred (500) meters seaward from that coastline.

Land within the National Park shall not be sold, subdivided, or transferred to private ownership.

Section 4

Within the National Park, the following are prohibited except as authorized in writing by the Government of Bearland:

• Construction of permanent structures;
• Construction of temporary structures lasting longer than 10 days;
• Extraction of minerals, oil, or other natural resources for any purposes;
• Hunting or trapping of wildlife;
• Dumping or disposal of waste.

Section 5

Any person who violates Section 4 of this Act shall:

• Be liable for the cost of remediation of any damage caused;
• Pay a civil penalty as determined by the High Court;
• Forfeit any materials, equipment, or resources unlawfully extracted or introduced.

Violators may also be subject to the measures of the External Enforcement Act.
