In the last few months, the Government of Bearland has been in the midst of a shortage on fresh notes, leading to government payroll not being issued as usual. But a new economic development may help the government fulfill its payroll duties!

V.I.T. (Voluntary Income Taxes) are paid only by the richest of Bearland. Normally, all debts settled in BBR are tax free, but the wealthy have plenty to spare. All VIT payments are 100% voluntary and are usually only made by government employees.

In other news, the official act that will decree Bearland’s mainland territory as a national park has been delayed. This is very unfortunate, but fear not, one day, Bearland National Park will be legalized!
