Cookies

We use cookies to keep the site running smoothly and to remember certain preferences. Cookies may also be used for basic site functions and simple analytics.

Your Data

We do not sell, trade, or share any personal information with outside parties. Any data you provide stays within Bearland systems and is used only to operate, maintain, and improve our services for citizens.

Likes, Reactions, and Comments

If you react to posts or comments, or if you leave a comment, your profile may be visible to others. By using these features, you acknowledge that your profile may appear publicly in connection with your likes, reactions, or comments.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, reaction, or like, the associated data may be stored indefinitely. Personal information for citizens is retained for up to six years, with the retention period resetting each time a Citizen ID is renewed. Citizens may request to view, edit, or delete their information at any time here. Personal information for applicants whose citizenship applications are denied will be deleted within sixty days.

Your Rights

You may request an export of the personal data we hold about you, or ask that we erase it. Certain records may need to remain for administrative, legal, or security purposes. If you request full erasure of your data, your Bearland citizenship record will also be removed, as the information we maintain is used to verify citizenship.

Citizens who have been issued physical documents, such as passports, MTM cards, or physical Citizen ID cards, must return these items to the Embassy before their data can be fully removed from our records. This is required to complete the full deletion process within the administrative system.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments and form submissions may be checked automatically by a spam-detection service. Any other information you provide may be kept within Bearland administrative systems.
